2005 CNY Prelude
the first day of the week and i've already felt very tired, after some stupid lessons... and some breaking news: CHEMISTRY TEST THIS WEDNESDAY!!! omg, how on earth did she get the idea of pushing the test so close to today... luckily it's one day in advance, or else i owuld rather die than continue to suffer... thank god one test is gone from the tests week (T1W7), at last some release of some burden... but i dont think i'm going to enjoy the coming chinese new year at all... need to study for test and do some ACE stuff to chalk up some points... just remembered that i have to perform for the chinese new year celebrations, memory failing again... performing mendelssohn 3, which i think "huh? why play this on such an occasion?" seriously, i dont see any effort so far by the chinese new year committee except for the lanterns and banners on the clock tower... planning to go to chinatown next monday to lift up the cny spirit in me, when i'm not so busy... ok, i will still be quite busy, but not as busy as now... destress after so much pressure, an over-inflated balloon has to release some air so that it doesnt burst... read up on the predictions about the year of the rooster... looks like a lot can be expected, and it's very bad... natural disasters (didn't one happen not logn ago?), political crises (isn't bush having a hard time ensuring that the iraqi elections go well?), and soem others that i cant really remember... but these two items are scary enough, the worse is that people born on the year of the Snake have an unfavourable year ahead... and i think it's starting to take effect coz of the tests week right the long cny break... "just look at the bright side of life......"

2005 T1W5
it's only the end of the 1st month of the remaining 11 months ahead, and i'm starting to feel very tired now... just finished pia-ing the homework for the weekend, maths, chem (some... not all), physics, bio, and english compo... just finished the english compo not long ago and feeling very tired... feel like sleeping already... took these tests so that i woouldn't sleep so early...
chinese new year is round the corner, chinatown is so crowded and filled with the festive season... but there is nothing to cheer about this year's chinese new year... right after the long long long break, a string of tests follow... so far, t1w7 will foresee tests on physics, chem, bio, humanities core, humanities elective, chinese and maths... i do really hope that the english class test will not occur during this week, but the probablity of it be on that week is really sky high... sigh... all subjects will be tested on the week following chinese new year, and i don't really have the mood to celebrate anymore... and btw, the chinese test on 28/1 was postponed to the coming week (31/1 - 4/2)... the reason: some of the words have been deleted by MOE (ministry of education) coz the words are not related to lifeskills and will not be used that often when we enter the workforce... and the very big headline of today: 61% OF LESSONS FOR PRIMARY 6 STUDENTS REDUCED!!! omg, why on earth would they remove so much of the syllabus, and they still dare to tell us that there is enough materials to be tested on... it's been quite smooth before the god damned removal of more than half of the lessons in the chinese textbook... i think the p6 students may have a good time, but to those whose chinese have been their strongest subject, i think they are at the loss... other students who have difficulties in learning chiense will catch up with them... i think the chinese syllabus should be reduced before the school term starts, or else it's going to be a waste when some of the words have been taught before the move... anywayz, downloaded quite a number of chinese songs from the net... s.h.e., fish leong, ocean, but i didn't download all of them, oni download those that i like to listen to... i think s.h.e. have improved a lot and i'm rooting for them... of course i will still support stef sun... pic of the day: work in progress (driving in a carto work... a lot to work now...)

2005 T1W2
today is a terrible day... firstly some boring lessons, then the boring assembly where we "stone" for more than an hour, and then someone who talks about "crooked" morals... i wonder if this is a very bad sign of the year ahead... com'on, it's only the second week of the year and here i am trying to stuff up my ears with something that absorbs 100% of sound waves of frequency 20 Hz to 20kHz... my god, why on earth would this day be such a bad day... and why on earth would i get a teacher like that... (u should know who i'm talking about by now...) i've been praying so hard during the holidays and this is what i get??? this isnt fair, others are having such kind and caring teachers and what do i get???!!! i think i should just drop this topic coz no point screaming at someone whose ears are invulnerable to damage due to excess exposure to high frequency sound waves... damn, i should have known that this would happen, then i can just have my own talk by myself while that person starts rambling...... pic of the day: candles, in tribute to the tsunami victims

this is my first post for this year and the year started not quite well... of course, school is back again and everything is going to be very busya and hectic again, unlike the lazy holidays... how i wish that the holidays would never end... but then again, something to be proud of, wearing college uniform... at least look much more better than the shorts... the class is still the same and some teachers are still the same (mok...) seriously speaking, i dont really like the combination of teachers, coz it makes me sick to see so many "old" teachers... and the state of the classroom -_-" damn dilapidated: ceiling paint falling off, stinking smell, fan going to collapse... how on earth can i even learn properly with such... (dont wish to say much...) anywayz, the tsunami disaster still tops the headlines of newspapers and tv news... soon there will be an album to raise funds for the victims across south and southeast asia, and the album stars stefanie sun!!! yay, i really want to buy it, listen to good music as well as helping those unfortunate... what a great exchange... today, the group of korean teachers that came to our school attended our english lesson... we were havinga presentation on the spirit of volunteerism and they were just right behind of the classroom, listening to the presentations... they took their photos and we did our presentations, i wonder what they have learnt from our lesson today...
